When you download and launch the App, the system may automatically record basic operational information needed to keep the service running, including IP address, device system version, in-app access path, session duration, and approximate region. We use this information mainly to: 1. Recommend more suitable routes based on Shadowrocket VPN node availability; 2. Analyze anonymous usage patterns to improve stability, performance, and overall VPN Service quality; 3. Send service notices, security alerts, and subscription-related communications to the email or username you provided.

We share only anonymized or de-identified data with necessary service partners when required for crash analytics, performance monitoring, or essential platform functions. Except where required by law, needed to protect users or the public, investigate abuse, or work with contracted service providers under confidentiality obligations, we do not disclose personal information to unrelated third parties. If you want data collection to stop, you may uninstall the App using the standard process on your device.

Account-related data is retained during the active service period and for a reasonable grace period afterward. If you want to close your account and remove personal profile data earlier, contact us at support@shadowrocketfree.com. The App is not intended for children under 13, and if we learn that such data was collected by mistake, we will delete it as soon as reasonably possible. We also maintain layered physical, network, and access-control safeguards to protect stored information.
